In order to for your child to play for South Gower RFC there are a number of actions you need to take:

REGISTER WITH THE WRU

All players MUST register with the WRU to ensure ONLY registered WRU members play fixtures for the correct club and age group.

How to register your child with the WRU

1. Visit my.wru.wales
2. Login in or create account
3. Click Register to Play and select 'Yes, someone under 18'.
4. Select 'Add Child' and add details of your child. Under Nationalities, you can add multiple countries if is your child is eligible to play for more than one.
5. You will receive a pop up asking if they your child is registered to play for another Union. Typically the answer will be NO.
6. Confirm your details as a parent/guardian
7. On the 'How would you like to play?' page click 'View Teams', type in South Gower RFC in the search box and select 'South Gower RFC'.
8. Select all the boxes and then 'Submit Application'.

BECOME A MEMBER OF SOUTH GOWER RFC

Minis, Juniors and Youth (U6s - Youth) must take a Family Membership. Family Membership is £15 per month and covers multiple junior players, their parents, and their siblings all from the same family household. Annual cost is £180 taken as a direct debit of £15 per month for a year.

Membership covers:

• Annual Insurance with all players covered under the WRU standard RFC insurance policies
• playing kit and subsidised off-field kit
• training for and access to qualified coaches and first aiders
• referees
• training ground facilities and floodlight use

REGISTER FOR A SOUTH GOWER RFC PITCHERO ACCOUNT

As a club we use Pitchero to manage team availability for fixtures and training sessions. We therefore require all parents of players under 16 years old to register their child on Pitchero.

Whilst you can manage your profile on our website we highly recommend you download and use the Pitchero Club App on your smartphone.

How to register for Pitchero

1. Download the Club App - download the Pitchero Club App from https://join.pitchero.com/club-app and create an account.
2. Register with email] - add your name, email and Date of birth, and create a password
3. [b]Choose a sport - select 'Rugby Union'
4. Choose a club - enter 'South Gower' into the search bar and select 'South Gower RFC' when it appears.
5. Apply for a role - select Parent
6. Add a child - add your child's name
7. Choose a team - select a team from the drop down
8. Confirm your email - once complete check your email inbox and confirm your email address.
9. Update your notification preferences - in the App click your profile circle in the top right-hand-side and select notifications to update your preferences. We suggest you keep notifications from the Club enabled but turn off the notifications for other teams apart from your child's team.
